Description

This durable, hand-crafted wood spatula has a flat triangle shape for sautéing meats or mixing batter; the crisp edge is perfect for scraping. Beautifully finished walnut wood makes an attractive display in a rustic or minimalist kitchen. Each spatula is hand carved with traditional tools, hand sanded and polished to a soft shine. Finally,  a natural seal of beeswax and coconut oil is applied. Treat yourself to traditional craftsmanship with these eco-friendly wood kitchen utensils - or give as a gift to your favorite cook.

  • Wood kitchen utensils are an eco-friendly alternative to plastic
  • Due to natural variations in the grain of the wood, each paddle varies slightly
  • Hand wash
  • Protect wooden utensils with an occasional light coat of oil
  • Made in the USA
  • Dimensions: 12 inches long x 3 inches wide

About the Artisans: Jack Gerard and Genevieve Barrere

four-leaf-wood-shop-1.jpgJack and Genevieve moved to Ojai, California in April 2015 with a plan to try expanding on what had been a woodworking hobby and a dream to build something truly unique. Four Leaf Wood Shop was born as they began hand carving spoons, spatulas and knives with traditional hand carving tools. They eventually started incorporating unique design elements and inlays to their pieces to create a signature look. Some of their most unique pieces beautifully incorporate non-traditional materials such as turquoise, brass, marble, and purple cedar with more traditional hardwoods like black walnut, cherry and maple. Their unique designs set them apart from most woodworkers and ensures their work will be cherished for generations.
