"the Fig" is a unique one piece solid wooden cutting/serving board handcrafted in Hickory, North Carolina by Rory Joyce of Wood & Button.

  • Features a unique fig inspired shape
  • Made from high quality hardwood, and finished with a food grade mineral oil
  • The solid,  single piece construction reduces the chances of splitting and cracking by eliminating seams and joints.
  • Approximately 8" x 15.5"

It's well suited for serving breads and cheese, and makes for a perfect wedding or housewarming gift that will last for generations.

About the Artisan: Rory Joyce

Rory is one half of the husband and wife team at Wood & Button. He and his wife Audrey left city life for a small farm in the mountains of North Carolina where they homeschool their children, tend to the farm and craft beautiful and functional wood and fabric goods for the home, kitchen and trail. Rory crafts uniquely designed cutting boards, spoons, plates and other kitchen utensil while Audrey creates high quality handmade sewn goods.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs.

Note: Purchases made between November 1st and December 31st can be returned through January 31st.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Shipping

All items are shipped via USPS, UPS or Fedex. Please let us know if you have a preference, otherwise we will ship with the best option for your delivery address. We currently only ship to addresses in the United States. Please note that we cannot ship to post office boxes. Sometimes items that are ordered together may ship separately. We do not ship on weekends or holidays.

We offer free ground shipping on all orders over $49. Delivery time is generally 3-9 days with ground shipping. (3-7 Business Days)
